As part of Northern Arizona University's Greeklife, we are a part of the United Greek Council (UGC), which consists of smaller multi-cultural fraternities and sororities.

History

Delta Chi Lambda Asian Interest Sorority was established on October 12, 2000. A group of eleven founding ladies wanted to create an organization that would provide eternal sisterhood and personal development for their members.  After many months of sisterhood, research, and dedication, the ladies became Founding Mothers and Delta Chi Lambda was born. With the help of their advisor Wellington Chu, the proper steps were taken to build the backbone of what is now DChiL.  Official recognition at the University of Arizona under Panhellenic took place in June 2002.  As the sisterhood flourished, Delta Chi Lambda saw the need for Expansion and the National Board was established in May 2009.

Delta Chi Lambda Gamma Chapter was officially established at Northern Arizona University on September 3, 2011.

Sisterhood

Delta Chi Lambda provides its sisters with a lifetime of sisterhood and loyalty that will endure for years after she leaves the University. Our sisterhood comprises of a number of unique bonds shared between the different roles in our sorority, such as big sisters, pledge sisters (the class in which a sister rushes, pledges, and crosses with), and pledge moms. We also provide our sisters with sisterhoods, or events that give us the opportunity to bond with one another. D Chi L's sisterhood is truly unique as we shared a bond so deep, it cannot be described by words and may only be understood through experience.
